Basecamp Resorts – Page

Follow these steps to edit an existing page on the Basecamp Resorts website.


Step 1: Log In to WordPress

  1. Open your browser

  2. Go to:

  3. Enter your username/email and password

  4. Click Log In


Step 2: Go to Pages

  1. From the WordPress dashboard, look at the left-hand menu

  2. Click Pages

  3. Select All Pages

You will see a list of all available pages on the website.


Step 3: Find the Page You Want to Edit

You can:

  • Scroll through the list, or

  • Use the Search Pages field at the top

Hover over the page title once you find it.


Step 4: Click “Edit”

Click Edit under the page title.

Depending on the page, it will open in:

  • Elementor Editor (most design-heavy pages), or

  • WordPress Editor (for basic content)


If the Page Uses Elementor (Most Pages)

Step 5A: Edit with Elementor

  1. Click Edit with Elementor

  2. The Elementor editor will load

You can now:

  • Click any text to edit it

  • Update images, buttons, or links

  • Adjust layouts and spacing (if permitted)


Step 6A: Save Your Changes

  1. Click the Update button (green) at the bottom-left

  2. Wait for the confirmation message

Your changes are now live.


If the Page Uses the WordPress Editor

Step 5B: Edit Page Content

  1. Edit text directly in the content area

  2. Use blocks to add or update content if needed


Step 6B: Update the Page

  1. Click Update in the top-right corner

  2. Confirm the page is saved


Step 7: Review the Page

  1. Click View Page

  2. Refresh the page if needed

  3. Confirm your updates display correctly


Important Notes

  • Always click Update before leaving the page

  • Changes go live immediately unless staging is used

  • Some sections may be global templates—editing them affects multiple pages


Troubleshooting

I don’t see “Edit with Elementor”

  • The page may use the default WordPress editor

  • Or your user role may not have Elementor permissions

My changes didn’t show

  • Refresh the page

  • Clear browser cache

  • Confirm you clicked Update
