Basecamp Resorts – Amenities

How to Edit Amenities (WordPress)

Amenities on BasecampResorts.com are managed as a custom content type. Follow the steps below to edit an existing amenity safely.


Step 1: Log In to WordPress

  1. Go to the WordPress Dashboard

  2. Visit:

     
    https://basecampresorts.com/wp-admin
  3. Enter your login credentials


Step 2: Open Amenities

  1. In the left sidebar, click Amenities

  2. Click All Amenities

  3. Look for the amenity you want to edit

  4. Click Edit


Step 3: Edit Amenity Content

Update the main content fields as needed (title, description, or custom fields depending on the amenity setup).


Step 4: Assign Property Categories

On the right-hand side of the editor:

  • Locate Property Categories

  • Check the property or properties where this amenity applies

These categories control where the amenity appears across the site.


Step 5: Add or Remove a Button on the Amenity Card

To ADD a button:

  • Fill in Button Text

  • Fill in Button Link

Both fields must be completed for the button to appear.


To REMOVE the button:

  • Leave Button Text and Button Link blank

No button will be displayed on the amenity card.


Step 6: Save Your Changes

  1. Click Update

  2. Wait for the confirmation message


Step 7: Review the Amenity

  1. View the relevant property page

  2. Confirm the amenity displays correctly

  3. Verify button behavior (if added)


Important Notes

  • Button text without a link will not display

  • Property Categories determine visibility

  • Changes go live immediately after updating
