Follow these steps to create a new Amenities by duplicating an existing one.

Step 1: Log In to WordPress

1. Go to the WordPress Dashboard

2. Visit: https://basecampresorts.com/wp-admin

3. Enter your login credentials

Step 2: Go to Amenities

1. In the left sidebar, click Amenities

2. Click All Amenities

Step 3: Duplicate an Existing Item

1. Find an existing Post Type that is similar to what you want to create

2. Click Duplicate (or use your duplication plugin option)

   If duplicate is not available:

   • Click Edit

   • Click Copy to a New Draft (if available)

Duplicating ensures layout structure and ACF fields remain consistent.

Step 4: Edit the Content

Update the following:

• Title

• Main content (if applicable)

• Images

• Links

• Any text fields

Step 5: Update All ACF Fields

Scroll down and carefully review all ACF fields.

Make sure:

• All text fields contain the correct information

• All images are updated (do not leave old images)

• All links are correct and working

• Any repeater fields are updated properly

• No placeholder or previous content remains

⚠️ Always double-check every field before publishing.

Step 6: Assign Appropriate Categories

On the right-hand side, select the correct categories such as:

• City Category

• Destinations Category

• Property Categories

• Event Types (if applicable)

Categories control where the content appears on the website.

Make sure it is assigned correctly.

Step 7: Publish

1. Click Publish (for new items)

2. Or click Update (if editing a draft)

Step 8: Review the Page

After publishing:

1. View the item on the front end

2. Confirm:

   • Content displays correctly

   • Images load properly

   • Links work

   • It appears in the correct categories/locations

Important Reminders

• Always duplicate instead of creating from scratch

• Ensure all ACF fields contain correct information

• Remove any leftover content from the duplicated item

• Double-check category assignments

• Changes go live immediately after publishing
